While working at Tom Nook’s shop “Nook’s Cranny” she begins living her life away from her family. The movie’s story goes as follows: One day, a young girl called Ai moves into the Animal Village. A fan decided to add English subtitles to the movie, since no release dates have ever been announced outside of its Japanese December 16th, 2006, release where the film earned an estimated 1.8 billion Yen (about US$5 million) at the box office. The Japanese Animal Crossing: The Movie is an anime film based on the Animal Crossing game series (mainly the DS game Wild World).
